Spirit Earn Berth in CHL Top-10 For Sixth Straight Week

The Canadian Hockey League has released their CHL Top-10 Rankings for week eight of the 2010-2011 hockey season, and for the sixth straight week the Spirit have earned a spot in the rankings.  The 13-3-1-1 Spirit are the fifth top team in the CHL, and face a big series on the road this weekend with games against the Niagara IceDogs on Thursday, the Erie Otters on Friday and the Brampton Battalion on Sunday.

The Mississauga St. Michael’s Majors are the top ranked team in the CHL with a record of 15-2-0-1 while fellow OHL club the Owen Sound Attack are ranked seventh with a record of 12-4-0-1.  The Kitchener Rangers earned an honorable mention.
