Chris Osgood – Partner


Chris Osgood became a part of the Saginaw Spirit Ownership Group in August 2016.

Osgood is the owner of three Stanley Cup Championships with the Detroit Red Wings (1997, 1998, and 2008). He is a two-time William Jennings Trophy winner (1996, 2008) for lowest goals against in the entire NHL. The Peace River, Alberta native also appeared in two NHL All-Star Games over his 17-year NHL career. Osgood’s 401 NHL regular season victories rank him 10th all-time. His .539 winning percentage as a goaltender ranks fourth in NHL history. He currently ranks fourth all-time in playoff shutouts and eighth all-time in playoff wins.

Before Osgood’s hall of fame worthy NHL career began, he played his junior hockey in the Western Hockey League with the Medicine Hat Tigers, Brandon Wheat Kings, and the Seattle Thunderbirds. He was selected by the Detroit Red Wings in the third round of the 1991 NHL Entry Draft, 54th overall. Today, Osgood works on the Detroit Red Wings television broadcasts for Fox Sports Detroit as a color commentator and studio analyst.
