The 2nd edition of the Wawanesa OHL Plays of the Week for the 2017-18 season feature another collection of the league’s Top-5 goals scored in the week ending October 1.

This week’s highlights start and finish with a pair of Saginaw Spirit forwards performing dazzling end-to-end rushes including Damien Giroux at number five, and Cole Coskey at number one.  Other highlights this week include individual efforts by Max Jones of the London Knights and Akil Thomas of the Niagara IceDogs, plus a behind-the-back pass from Shaw Boomhower to rookie Keean Washkurak for his first career goal with the Mississauga Steelheads.
