The New York Islanders have announced the signing of Saginaw Spirit defenseman Jesse Graham to a three-year, National Hockey League entry-level contract.

Splitting his 2013-14 campaign between the Spirit and Niagara IceDogs, Graham produced 11 goals and 43 assists for 54 points, which was tied for third in scoring by an OHL defenseman this past season. The Islanders drafted Graham in the sixth round of the 2012 NHL Draft, 155th overall, and following the Spirit’s first round playoff set with the Erie Otters, he joined the Bridgeport Sound Tigers of the American Hockey League, scoring one goal, and three assists in seven games.
